Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification
To study the Welsh Bac you must be studying one of the following courses:

- AS/A Levels
- CACHE Foundation Caring for Young Children Award
- First Diploma (FD) Public Services
- National Diploma (ND) Animal Management
- National Diploma (ND) Business
- National Diploma (ND) Construction
- National Diploma (ND) Electronics
- National Diploma (ND) Operations and Maintenance
- National Diploma (ND) Public Services
- Extended Diploma (ED) Travel and Tourism
- NVQ 2 Professional Catering
New courses may be added for September 2010.

- Wales, Europe and the world
- Personal and social education
- Individual investigation
- Trips and visits
There are three levels of study:
Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced - worth 120 UCAS points (A grade at A Level)

Exeter (University) asked for two Bs at A-level and a pass for the Welsh Bac to study biology there, they were very keen on the Welsh Bac at my interview.
