Full-time academic and vocational courses

There is a variety of courses to choose from for school leavers and adults starting from foundation level to A Levels. Click on courses to find the course to suit your requirements.



Part-time academic and vocational courses

There are day time, evening and on-line courses available at our main Haverfordwest campus, MITEC at the Docks at Milford Haven and many community venues through our STEP project. Click on courses for details.



Full and part-time Higher Education

Degrees, HNDs and HNCs mainly validated by the University of Glamorgan. The College is an accredited College of the University of Glamorgan. These courses serve the needs of the local school leavers, adults, employees and businesses. Some courses also attract students from other parts of the UK and internationally. Worked based learning and training

NVQ training and assessment in the work place as well as other accredited and customised business training programmes.Click on employers for further information.



Skill Build and Modern Apprenticeships

These are offered in a range of vocational career routes which link College training with employment and provide students with a training allowance. Click on modern apprenticeships for further details.



Facilities

The College has excellent facilities and equipment notably in the Learning Resource Centre (library), computing and IT suites, design and multi-media studies, technology workshops and, most recently, an award-winning £3.2m Construction Centre. The next phase of a £30m estate master plan will see the completion of a £4m Engineering Wing before the start of the new 2010 academic year.



Size of College

The College has around 2,000 full-time and 6,500 part-time students and over 550 staff. Appoximately 100 full-time students are recruited from overseas.



Partnerships

There are strong partnerships with a number of organisations including Pembrokeshire LEA, the Prince's Trust and PAVS (Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Services). The College provides Welsh Assembly Government funding for a number of Princes Trust courses and LEA Learning Pembrokeshire classes in subjects such as IT, Basic Skills (Return To Learn) and Welsh for Adults.



Sport

An important development of the College has been the growth of its Sports Academy that currently includes Golf, Football, Rugby and Netball. Our Sports Academy allow gifted players to receive top level coaching while studying full-time on any College course.
