In 2009, the College won the fforwm Award for Leaning Support, demonstrating its commitment to caring and supporting its learners.

Our successes are due to the collective efforts and energy of staff throughout the College. Governors and managers recognise that success can only continue if the conditions and climate within the College are positive. They do all they can to encourage and welcome staff to bring new and fresh ideas to the College and to develop initiatives. There are many opportunities for doing this, including staff planning events, an annual staff conference, training days and extensive staff development. In addition, all staff are encouraged to take part in a very positive staff appraisal system where objectives, progress and new ideas can be discussed with line managers.

Pembrokeshire College has prioritised continuous quality improvement, financial strategy and a healthy and safe environment in all its plans and activities. We are committed to the promotion of equal opportunities, flexible working, work life balance and investment in staff development.
