College start for adults
This 10-week course introduces students to college and study, and provides a sound basis for progression to Level 3 courses such as Access to Higher Education, National Diploma and A Levels.
Teaching adults
- Certificate in Delivering Learning (City & Guilds 7302)
- PCE/PGCE (PcET) - Professional Certificate in Education/Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (Post Compulsory Education and Training).
- Assessment Units A1/A2 (Formerly D32/D33)
You need to be either working in an adult teaching or training capacity or have proof that there is demand for you in your field of work.

These Access courses are for people who want to study on a college or university course but either don’t have the necessary traditional qualifications or lack confidence about studying after a long break. Entry is subject to an informal interview.
