During this course you will have an introduction to the engineering workshops. This will include the mechanical engineering and maintenance workshop.
Basic Engineering Machining
You will gain an understanding through practical activities including:
- Using a milling machine
- Using a lathe
- Using hand fitting techniques
The following personal protective equipment will be required:
- Steel toe capped boots
- Fire retardant overalls
- Safety glasses
