This course commences in February and is designed to develop your basic knowledge and skills in both the kitchens and front of house.
As well as gaining practical skills, you will also learn about the importance of customer safety and increase your awareness of the hospitality industry and the many career opportunities that exist working in this exciting sector.
During the course you will also develop your teamwork, communication and customer service skills to allow you to progress to higher level study or into employment.
The course is delivered in 3 key areas:
- Classroom – where underpinning knowledge and written tests are completed;
- Practical area – using the College hospitality suite including the kitchens and front of house (restaurant and coffee shop);
- Enterprise – activities carried out at various suitable points.
