It may be possible to study this course on a part-time basis.

Health and Social Care provides a broad basis for progression into a range of career pathways including teaching, nursing, social work, police, probation, counselling, child care, and mental health work . Some of these career pathway require degree level studies e.g. BN Nursing, BEd, BA Social Work.

Entry requirements: 
Five GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
to include:
-English
-Science
-Maths
Normally Grade B in subject or related subject
Mature applicants - Each application considered on individual merit
Entry is normally subject to interview
Federation learners will be admitted as normal after satisfying the entry requirements of their own school

Students will be required to undertake a CRB check for visits and placements. The current charge made for this by the CRB is £44.
