A willingness to learn and a general interest in cooking and wanting to eat a more healthy diet. 

What you will learn: 

Four different sessions providing an opportunity to observe and participate in producing a range of interesting snacks, meals and desserts. All ingredients will be supplied for the students by Pembrokeshire College.

The following are guidelines of the types of dishes that could be prepared on this course:

  • Week 1- Healthy snacks
  • Week 2- Meals for the whole family
  • Week 3- Meals for the whole family
  • Week 4- Tasty desserts without all the guilt
Equipment required: 
  • Apron
  • Some Knives
  • Tea towels
  • Food containers

Students will be required to bring suitable containers to take prepared dishes home

As this is a professional catering environment, for your own safety you be require to adhere to the following:

  • Wear shoes or trainers (non slip and open toe shoes)
  • Wear jeans or trousers (no skirts or shorts)
  • Long hair to be tied back
