This course has been developed for maintenance managers, engineers and technicians who are working in or applying for positions in a regulated manufacturing environment. Specifically this course investigates the common principles for the application and operation of instrumentation where adherence to specific regulations is required by law. This may include pharmaceutical manufacturing and food primary production sectors or those industries operating in a potentially hazardous environment and processing hazardous materials. The course will introduce learners to the regulations, processes and procedures that govern the installation, operation and maintenance of instrumentation in these types of regulated manufacturing environments.
A range of tactics, strategies and methodologies are included, with a specific emphasis on developing a quality based programme that identifies a clear pathway towards applying the key principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Engineering Practice (GEP). The course content can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of customers’ business operations, processes, procedures and documentation
