- Appropriate work experience will also be an advantage
- Entry is normally subject to interview
- For mature applicants - Direct admissions to programmes for applicants who have been out of full time education for more than two years will be considered based on previous learning or experience. What you will learn
The BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is a two year programme franchised from the University of Glamorgan and delivered at Pembrokeshire College. The course consists of six modules including:
Year 1
- Mechatronics
- Embedded systems
- Project management
Year 2
- An individual project (hons or non-hons)
- Electronics production and test
- Signals and digital communications
Year 3 (BSc Hons)
This provides the option to top up the degree to a BSc (hons). The course consists of three modules:
- Electronics Design
- Power, Electronics and Drives
- Electronic Production Management
How you will learn
- Group discussions
- Writing reports and projects
- Practical activities following written and verbal guidance
How you will be assessed
In the main, these will be written assignments based on a practical activity, case studies and written exams.
