Course Information
This programme brings together the technologies that link computing and electronics. It will equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to design both hardware and software applications in electronics. The programme gives students an advanced understanding of modern electronic engineering together with the expertise in engineering software development.
What Next?
For those wishing to pursue careers as electronics or electrical engineers. It is also possible to progress onto BSc/BEng in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
Entry requirements
- 80 UCAS points from main programme at A-Level/Vocational A-Level (GCE)or National Diploma
- Access to Higher Education qualification
- Relevant training and experience equivalent to NVQ Level 3
- For mature applicants - Direct admissions to programmes for applicants who have been out of full time education for more than two years will be considered based on previous learning or experience. Each application will be considered on individual merit. We recommend an interview with one of our Careers Advisers before submitting your application.
