The Bright Start Day Nursery offers a lively, safe and caring environment for pre-school children aged between 0 and 7 years. The nursery's professional team of staff create a happy and stimulating atmosphere. This allows children to explore and learn through play activities that develop them physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially and through language.

Bright Start has successfully been providing high quality childcare to the community for more than 17 years and is delivering the Foundation Phase for three to seven year olds.

What's the Foundation Phase?

The Foundation Phase places great emphasis on children learning by doing. Young children are given the opportunity to gain valuable learning experiences through play and active involvement.

Taking learning outdoors

The Foundation Phase also encourages staff to extend the learning environment to the outdoors. "Bright Start encourage individual development. I am extremely happy with the nursery and my son Ieuan is more than happy going on regular nature walks around the nursery's 'Living Garden' and tending to his garden pots." said parent Julie Thomas.

"The nursery has an atmosphere of care. The staff are professional and the fact that everyday we get a relaxed, happy child returned to us says it all," said Molly's parents Sara and David Moore.

Location

The nursery is located at Pembrokeshire College, but places are available for children regardless of whether their parents are students at the college. It is worth booking a place for your child as soon as you have been made an offer as it is very popular.

Opening Times

8am-6pm throughout the year (excluding bank holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year).
