The weekend of 20th/21st July 2007 staff and students from Pembrokeshire College MITEC Centre travelled over to New Ross in County Wexford to present the Dunbrody Ship's Boat to the John F Kennedy Trust.

Atlantic Challenge/Bantry Bay Gig

Students at the MITEC centre are exposed to a wide variety of boat design and building skills. Perhaps the most traditional of the skills being taught have been shown through the construction of a true replica of a 'Bantry Bay Gig' dating back to 1796.
