Becky Harries of Pembrokeshire College Golf Academy and Haverfordwest Golf Club was awarded the Joyce Wethered Trophy at the recent Daily Telegraph Woman's Golfer of the Year awards luncheon. Wethered, who won four of the six British titles in which she played from 1922-1929, specified that her trophy should go to an up-and-coming competitor who has successfully combined golf with education or a job. Becky has achieved this by studying on a business course at Pembrokeshire College and developing her game as a member of the college's Golf Academy.
