Students Loans and Assembly Learning Grant Higher Education

Full-time Higher Education students are eligible to apply for the following support:

• Student Loan for Maintenance up to a maximum of £6,648 depending on place of study, household income and whether you live with parents or away from home. (Repayable from the April after you finish your course, the amount you repay will be linked to your income).
• Tuition Fee Loan up to a maximum of £3,290 - the fee you are charged paid directly to your university or college. (Repayable - will be linked to your maintenance loan).
• Assembly Learning Grant (Higher Education) up to £5,000 dependant on household income. (Non repayable)
• Welsh National Bursary - £329
• Special Support Grant
• Childcare Grant
• Parents Learning Allowance
• Adult Dependants Grant
• Disabled Students Allowances (DSAs)
• Care Leavers Grant
