Bespoke Training

Pembrokeshire College’s specialist training unit Business Central, is a ‘one-stop shop’ providing extensive commercial training programmes for employers both locally and internationally – utilising its own staff, skills and experience. Vocational training has long been a major part of the College’s work. Over the past 50 years we have developed an extensive pool of knowledge across a range of occupational sectors recognising the importance of flexibility and responding to the training needs of industry and commerce. Pembrokeshire College’s Business Central team can offer a comprehensive range of regular short training courses such as Health and Safety and First Aid, or specialist bespoke training delivered either at Pembrokeshire College or on your own business premises. We provide a FREE training needs analysis which will give you an overview of the skills, talent and capabilities of your organisation as well as uncovering any areas for development.

Training needs assessment

Our experienced and knowledgeable assessors will be able to recommend exactly which type of training you would require based on your business, time-scale and budget requirements. Throughout the process we will work with you to create an individual training course or a fully bespoke training programme. At this point, it may become clear that you require further consultation to achieve your strategic business aims. If this is the case, then we offer a full consultancy process in which funding options are explored and ongoing support/development is implemented to guide your business to its goals. An individual training course or bespoke training programme can be delivered in a range of formats.

Totally bespoke

We will work with you to create a totally bespoke training course or package of courses. The development of a bespoke training course involves a content development consultation between you and the tutor, in which you will be able to specify the exact needs and knowledge levels of your team. The tutor will then dedicate time to training course development. Due to the nature of this process, it would be difficult to provide a quote for any bespoke training before this point of the development process, but an average price for training course development is approximately £250 – £800.

Tailored to you

Using the packaged training courses as a starting point, we can customise our training courses for your business using industry relevant case studies and examples to suit your individual requirements.

Training delivery

We can deliver at any specified location (depending on the logistical requirements of the training course). Business Central is also able to access the facilities at Pembrokeshire College and MITEC in Milford Haven. Training course delivery includes all materials for each delegate and refreshments can be provided if requested. Distance learning/e-learning can be arranged for learners where possible.
