Is this course right for me?

The main aim of this six week course is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills required by the barbering industry.

  • You will be expected to have successfully completed Level 3 Barbering
  • Each application is considered on individual merit

This course only have one unit:

  • To provide shaving services – using the correct tools and equipment to prepare the face and provide the shaving service

The learner will also develop knowledge of related health and safety, client care, communication skills and providing aftercare advice which are essential to work and be successful in the barbering industry.

Learners are able to complete either the full qualification or certain units or elements through the medium of Welsh/bilingually. Visit our Welsh Language in the College page to find out what else is available to you.

Following successful completion of this course learners could look to progress to a higher level course at the College, seek an appropriate Apprenticeship or go directly into employment.
