Is this course right for me?

Unleash your child’s creativity and culinary potential in our Children’s Chefs Club!

This exciting one day course is for children aged 8-12 who, under the guidance of a professional chef, will dive into the delightful world of baking and decorating.

This hands-on experience will teach them essential baking techniques, from mixing and baking, to the art of applying icing, and will take place at the Pembrokeshire College Main Campus.

All parents/carers/guardians are required to sign a consent form which will be emailed to them in advance.

Children must be accompanied to the course venue where the tutor will meet them and parents are to collect their children at the end of each session. Children are to bring a packed lunch with them.

  • No formal entry requirements

Children will learn to bake both cakes and biscuits, and will also be taught how to decorate them.

Learners have the option to complete course assessment/assignments or elements of the course through the medium of Welsh or bilingually. Visit our Welsh Language in the College page to find out what else is available to you.

  • Not applicable

This is the perfect way to encourage a flair for both baking and creativity in children, perhaps it will encourage a future career in a kitchen.

  • No additional equipment required
