Is this course right for me?

The name crochet derives from the French term for small hook. The main difference between crochet and knotting is that each stitch in crochet is completed before proceeding with the next one whereas knitting keeps a large number of stitches open at a time.

You will need to bring your crochet hooks and wool with you however if you don’t have any to begin with, please come along to the first lesson and the tutor will help you from there. Feel free to bring any projects that you have been working on at home too.

Come and have fun learning this skill and expand your repertoire.

This eight week course normally runs on a Friday, 10:00 – 12:00, at Uzmaston Hall.

  • No formal entry requirements
