This course will cover a range of topics relating to criminal behaviour, offender profiling and forensic and criminal psychology.

This eight week course normally runs on a Thursday, 18:00 – 20:00.

  • Life skills, experience and maturity are important
  • Each application is considered on individual merit

This course covers psychological theories of crime, models of behavioural profiling and forensic psychology. Modules to be studied will include:

  • Criminal behaviour and approaches to solving crime
  • Models of behavioural profiling
  • Forensic psychology in relation to crime detection

Learners are able to complete either the full qualification or certain units or elements through the medium of Welsh/bilingually.

  • Continuous assessment during the course
  • Portfolio of evidence
