Student Finance

There are several funding options which you may be eligible to apply for depending on your circumstances.

For learners aged 16-18 you may be eligible for the Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA). Eligibility depends on household income but you could receive up to £30 per week. The payments are made term-time only and are based on 100% attendance. Application forms can be downloaded from the Student Finance Wales website.

If you think you may be eligible for financial assistance to help with covering the cost of the workshop and/or any equipment fees please complete a Financial Contingency Fund (FCF) application form available in Welsh or in English and return to the Student Finance office, please call 01437 753 134 or email studentfinance@pembrokeshire.ac.uk if you have any queries. (Please note FCF will not cover any Admin Fee Costs).

If you have paid your workshop fee/purchased your equipment and become eligible for FCF funding you can claim this back if you present your receipt. Alternatively you can pay your workshop fee/purchase your equipment via the College, once you have been awarded your funding.

If you are aged over 19 you may be eligible for a Welsh Government Learning Grant. Application forms can be downloaded from the Student Finance Wales website.

You can find all the information on our College Student Finance webpage.
