KickStart Scheme – The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to employers to create job placements for 16-24 year olds who are claiming Universal Credit. As a gateway representative, Pembrokeshire College will partner with local businesses to create the minimum requirement of 30 job opportunities for each application to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Skills for Industry – We offer subsidised accredited training and qualifications from Level 1 to Level 5 in the eligible occupations.
Student Finance – find out more about Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA), Welsh Government Learning Grant (WGLG), Financial Contingency Fund, Traineeship Bursary, Higher Education Government Loans and more options from our student finance department.
The Danny Fellows Trust (external site) – This loan fund aims to enlarge the pool of appropriately skilled labour available to local businesses in the Energy, Engineering and Construction sectors. This will be achieved by providing loans to individuals living in Pembrokeshire to gain additional skills and industry recognised qualifications that fall outside established funding mechanisms.
