All the speakers are top professionals in their field and it is a great way to be inspired by the very best! Science live. They will also visit the Natural History and Science museums.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sociology\/Psychology\/History<\/strong> have booked a Jack the Ripper tour, a visit to the London Dungeons and will see live court cases at the Old Bailey. They will also visit the Natural History and Science museums.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Art<\/strong> will visit museums and galleries: Wayne Thiebaud. American Still Life &#8211; The Courtauld, Hayward Gallery at the Southbank Centre and the Tate Modern<\/p>\n<p>We have booked youth hostel rooms in a central London hostel and tickets for the theatre on the second evening to see Hamilton. Students will be able to go for dinner in the Covent Garden and Piccadilly Circus areas in groups.<\/p>\n<p>The price for the visit is planned to be \u00a3214. This is based on the number of students signing up.<\/p>\n<p>If not enough sign up we will review if costs need to increase or if the trip is viable (in which case deposits would be refunded). This price includes travel, events, accommodation and breakfast. It does not include the tube or buses if we use them, lunches, dinner or snacks. As you can imagine we have to pay for bookings, for the hostel, conference and show very soon, so a commitment is needed from the students. It will not be possible to refund anyone withdrawing from the visit at a later date if payments have been made to companies. Students wishing to withdraw at a later date will have to exchange their place with other students. Places on the trip are first come first served. Students will also need to make sure they do not get behind in the work for their other subjects and must collect and complete work from tutors before we leave.<\/p>\n<p>To reserve a place please pay the non-refundable deposit \u00a3100 by <strong>18 September<\/strong>, and the balance by the <strong>22 October<\/strong>.
