A course suitable for anyone working or wishing to work in industries where a detailed technical, computer generated image is required e.g. architecture, engineering, manufacture, graphics, product design, boat building etc.
Computer Aided Design Using AutoCAD (2D)

The qualification studied is the Level 2 City and Guilds 2D Computer Aided Design (7689).
The course is designed to take the student from the initial concept of computerised drawing in two dimensions (2D) to more complex detailed drawings using many of the higher level functions of the package, which would enable the student to produce detailed computer generated drawings of a professional standard.
Many previous students have used the qualification to enhance their employment skills.
Assessment:
- Two practical examinations
- One theory examination
There are no formal entry requirements.
