Is this course right for me?
This course is a substantial vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as a reflexologist.
The first part of the course will cover practical and theoretical training followed by commercial client sessions to incorporate case-studies and assessment.
Please note: if you do not have the Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology requirements, there may be an option to complete an online module, in your own time.
This course normally runs one evening per week, for 34 weeks, starting in October.
- Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology Recognised Qualification, if you do not have this there may be an option to complete an Online module in your own time
- If under 19, relevant Level 1 or two GCSEs at grade D or above (may include one relevant equivalent) to include English Language/First Language Welsh
- Good personal presentation and communication skills are required
- Each application is considered on individual merit
Units of study include:
- Business practice for complementary therapies
- Principles and practice of complementary therapies
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology for complementary therapies (two exams)
- Provide reflexology for complementary therapies
You will be involved in commercial sessions towards the end of the course.
Learners are able to complete either the full qualification or certain units or elements through the medium of Welsh/bilingually. Visit our Welsh Language in the College page to find out what else is available to you.

Students can become self-employed practitioners or go on to train in other areas of complementary therapies.
You may wish to consider another of our part-time courses.

- Text books - you will be told about any specific items before you start the course, most text books are available to loan from the college library or online libraries
- A uniform, which you can purchase online before you start the course
