This course will explore sustainable fashion and how to implement it into everyday life. You will learn about the global impact of the fashion industry alongside practical skills such as repair work and creatively re-using your clothes.
Each week you will cover a different topic, including:
- How to implement sustainable fashion into everyday life
- Life-cycle of garments
- How to work with what suits you
- Where to begin the design process
- Sewing and repair skills
- Transform unused clothing into other useful items
This is the Agored accredited unit Using Recycled Textiles
There are no entry requirements other than commitment and enthusiasm!
You will need to bring your sewing kit with you however if you don’t have one, please come along to the first lesson and the tutor will help you from there.
You will need to bring a basic sewing kit with you and feel free to bring any projects that you have been working on at home too.
Special offer of £40.00 for the summer term only, usually £80.
