Fashion and Textile Design students put the high street onto the catwalk today (March 22) as they showcased fashion on a budget.
With just £15 to spend, students plundered local charity shops and came up with a collection of vintage-inspired outfits that showed that they could be money and fashion-savvy.
Their chic creations also showed other students that you don’t need to spend loads to look stylish. Students gained valuable experience in buying on a budget as part of the College’s Money Week, promoting financial planning and awareness.
Their models had the chance to experience the pressure of a live catwalk show. Members of staff judged the creations and the winners were: (to be released shortly)
