Pembrokeshire College will do everything possible to ensure that it remains open as normal. In the event of adverse weather conditions, the College will do its utmost to open for those students taking examinations, even if the rest of the College is closed. Should buses not run, parents and students are asked to make every safe effort to arrive at College before 9.30 am.
If you are unable to get into College, you will have the opportunity to take the exam at a later date. Please see the following guidance for your options:
If you are a student sitting one or two units but this is not your final examination series, these can be taken in June 2017.
If you are resitting an examination from June 2016 and are awaiting a grade, if possible you can resit this in June. If this is not possible then an application for special consideration may be made to the Awarding Body via your Senior Examinations Officer where the Board makes provision for this. Please contact the Senior Examinations Officer if you require clarification.
If you are resitting units as part of your final examination series, and no further resit opportunity is available then again, an application for special consideration may be made via your Senior Examinations Officer.
