The £16.8 million Skills for Industry Project offers employers, and their employees, subsidies towards accredited qualifications from level 1 to level 5.The project covers the south west Wales region and is a partnership of colleges and H.E. institutions led by Gower College Swansea.
Pembrokeshire College’s Skills for Industry (SFI) Team held an Employment Update breakfast seminar in the Academy Restaurant at the college on 12th January and welcomed 22 employers to the event. Hannah Dahill, Director at Morgan La Roche solicitors in Carmarthen spoke about “Modern Slavery” and how the new legislation could impact on both large and smaller businesses.
“Hannah’s presentation was first class.”
“ I thought the event was really informative and a great opportunity to catch up with so many familiar faces.”
“Very useful information and very relevant for us”.
SFI will be organising another employment update in association with Morgan La Roche just before Easter. Please get in touch if there any topics you would like to see covered or if you would like to find out more about the SFI subsidies available to your business.
