Why do I need to pay these fees?
Workshop Fee
A workshop fee is applied to courses where materials and consumables are necessary to assist students’ learning. The cost is course dependent.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
If your chosen course includes lessons in a workshop environment, you are required to purchase appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Financial Assistance
If you think you may be eligible for financial assistance to help with covering the cost of the workshop and/or any equipment fees please visit the Student Finance page for the latest forms or call 01437 753 134 (week days) if you have any queries.
Note:
If you have paid your workshop fee/purchased your equipment and become eligible for Financial Contingency Fund (FCF) you can claim this back if you present your receipt. Alternatively you can pay your workshop fee/purchase your equipment via the College, once you have been awarded your funding.
