Course Overview
This course is ideal for those interested in employment within the environmental sector of industrial and commercial organisations, national parks and local authorities. Also excellent for wardening in coastal conservation and environmental agencies or wildlife based tourism. BSc graduates move onto employment or study of higher degrees / educational qualifications. Entry requirements
- 140 - 180 UCAS points from main programme at A Level, Vocational A Level (GCE) or National Diploma or
- Relevant training and experience equivalent to NVQ level 3 or
- For mature applicants - Direct admissions to programmes for applicants who have been out of full time education for more than two years will be considered based on previous learning or experience. Each application will be considered on individual merit. We recommend an interview with one of our Careers Advisers before submitting your application.

The structure of the award is flexible and modular in format. The BSc will normally take three years to complete, studying 18 modules. It is possible to study part time and to exit with a Certificate of Higher Education or Diploma of Higher Education for partial completion.

Each module is assessed by a mixture of coursework and examination.
Things you will need for your course
Course text books and appropriate outdoor clothing, a pair of standard 8x40 binoculars will be useful as will a digital camera to record evidence of field trip studies.
