The ‘Fairy Jobmother’ is ‘flying in’ to Pembrokeshire College to deliver straight-talking advice to help job-seekers and employers in west Wales.
With unemployment and job insecurity being a real worry in rural communities as well as Welsh cities, the community and welfare to work team at Pembrokeshire College, Haverfordwest, has invited Hayley Taylor, (pictured) also known as ‘The Fairy Job Mother’, to give some straight-talking advice to personal consultants working with the unemployed and also to local employers who may be looking for staff.
Following her TV series on Channel 4, and her no nonsense approach to getting people back into work, Hayley will be at the College on April 2 and 3 to share her knowledge and experience with the College’s welfare to work team. Set up in September 2011, the team have already been successful in giving the long-term unemployed in the county the skills and confidence to get back into work and want to build on that success.
Hayley will also be delivering a presentation for west Wales employers at 6.30pm on Monday 2 April at the College. Hayley’s presentation will include highlighting the positives that can be gained from employing people who have been out of employment for some time – and consider giving them a chance.
Any local employers interested in attending this event need to book – please call 01437 753 340 or email the marketing dept at Pembrokeshire College.
