Be prepared when it matters most. Pembrokeshire College offers non-accredited basic first aid training, ideal for community groups, organisations, and workplaces. Whether you are  part of a school, hospitality team, volunteer organisation, or local club, our sessions are designed to build confidence and provide life-saving knowledge in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Our experienced first aid tutors deliver hands-on, scenario-based training that can be tailored to your specific setting. You’ll also learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) — a vital tool in cardiac emergencies.

As this is a short course, we’ll focus on key topics most relevant to your group. Possible areas include:

  • CPR and the recovery position
  • Safe use of a defibrillator (AED)
  • Basic trauma care (trauma kits)
  • Managing choking, bleeding, shock, burns, and minor injuries
  • Responding to common medical emergencies such as fainting or seizures
  • Practical, real-world first aid scenarios specific to your needs

Who it’s for:
Community groups, schools, hospitality teams, staff groups, clubs, volunteers — anyone looking to improve everyday first aid skills

Course length:
2 to 2.5 hours
(Exact timing can be flexible and arranged at booking)

Cost:
£225 for a group of up to 12 people (based on a 2-hour session)

Location:
We can come to you or host the session at Pembrokeshire College

Certification:
Certificate of attendance provided
