The county’s largest provider of post-16 education has announced that it will be introducing the Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling to its extensive range of courses this September.
The two-year part-time course is priced at £2,850 per year (including certification, registration and residential accommodation fees), and will be delivered on Mondays from 1pm – 8pm at the Haverfordwest campus.
The Level 4 in Therapeutic Counselling course is an exciting opportunity for those students who have a desire to continue their counselling training and become fully qualified therapists.
College counsellor, Heidi Lester, explains that the course is designed to build on existing counselling skills and interventions developed in the Certificate in Counselling course:
“Students will study a variety of units including working ethically, safely and professionally as a counsellor, client diversity, establishing and developing a counselling relationship, counselling theory and skills and self-awareness in the counselling process. The course also includes a 100-hour practice component under supervision”.
Applications are available on the Pembrokeshire College website, or by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. Due to high demand, it is recommended that applications are sent by 18th June 2018.
