Former Pembrokeshire College Level 3 Welding student, Josh Tuson will fly the flag for Pembrokeshire in the SkillWeld Regional Semi-final held in MITEC in June.
Having been placed in the top ten after producing eight test pieces in the South Wales heats, Josh will now battle for a place in the SkillWeld National Final in November.
Josh completed Level 2 NVQ Engineering and Level 3 Enhanced Engineering at Pembrokeshire College last year and went straight into full-time employment as an apprentice with Jenkins and Davies, Pembroke.
College Lecturer, Jo Bradhsaw said, “We’re delighted that Josh will be competing for a place in the National final, his work is always of a high standard and we wish him the best of luck!”
