This intensive one day refresher training course may be required by BPEC if you are thinking of extending scope. Designed to help previously trained gas engineers to update their existing domestic natural gas knowledge and understanding to meet the core ACS assessment requirements.

What are the entry requirements?
Learners must be currently qualified in either Core Domestic Natural Gas Safety (CCN1) or Core Commercial Gas Safety (COCN1).
What will I learn?
To update existing knowledge and understanding required to work competently within the domestic natural gas industry.
Content will include:
- Legislation
- Unsafe situations
- Combustion
- Meters
- Gas pressures and flow
- Domestic pipework installation
- Tightness testing
- Purging
- Flues
- Ventilation
- Domestic gas controls
- Using an electronic combustion analyser
