If you are a keen seamstress, but would like to have some expert guidance or have a project you want to start, but not sure how to, this may be the workshop for you. Bring along existing or new projects to start in the workshop and get guidance and advice from our skilled tutor and meet like-minded people at the same time.

Is this course right for me?

For this sewing workshop course you will bring in a dressmaking or sewing project of your choice. There are no formal entry requirements, although you will need a basic knowledge of sewing to join the workshop.

It could be an alteration, upcycling or a particular aspect of making a garment that you need guidance in.

It will be in a workshop format and you will be encouraged to share your projects and learn with the group rather than individually with the tutor.

Session content will be led by students and their projects.

This course is non-accredited so you will not be assessed. It is for personal development and fun!

This eight-week course may return in Term 3
