Is this course right for me?

This eight week digital enterprise course is a Level 3 accredited by Agored Cymru is ideal for individuals interested in establishing an online presence for either a new or existing business venture. Upon completion of this course, learners will have developed a website and associated social media pages to establish their businesses online presence.

After this course we will be carrying out a Dragon’s Den style opportunity where learners can pitch their business idea, followed by a question and answer session. From this winners will be chosen for mentorship and cash prizes, first prize of £750 and second prize of £250.

Please note learners will be required to cover a monthly payment directly to Wix to cover the purchase of their domain name and future webhosting.

  • No formal entry requirements
  • You should have some basic computer skills including being able to save and locate files and access websites

You will learn:

  • to identify good graphic design used in business social media and web sites
  • to create photography to use in a range of graphic design projects
  • to create a business page using a social media platform
  • to create a marketing method for a social media business page
  • to create a web site for a small business

Learners are able to complete either the full qualification or certain units or elements through the medium of Welsh/bilingually. Visit our Welsh Language in the College page to find out what else is available to you.
