The safer handling course aims and objectives ensure that the Moving and Positioning training has been met to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries caused by poor manual handling in the workplace.

Is this course right for me?

This course is for anyone working in the Health and Social Care industry. Understanding Moving and Positioning Training can greatly reduce the risk of injury to the employee and the cost of absences for the employer.

Once the training has been completed successfully, the candidate will receive their Moving and Positioning certificate and training record as proof that training has been undertaken.

This is a two day course with a one day refresher only option also available for £55.00.

The course consists of six modules which ensures compliance with the law, reduces the risk from bad practice for clients and carers, and to meet requirements of best practice.
