AAT Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting
Master more complex accounting disciplines including financial processes, advanced bookkeeping, final accounts and ethical practices for accountants.

Is this course right for me?
This Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) course will prepare learners for the nationally recognised examinations which are highly regarded by both industry and professional accountancy practices, leading to excellent employment opportunities for successful students.
On completion of this course learners will need to register with AAT to become a member (admission and annual memberships fees are payable).
This course will be delivered as part of a blended learning programme, through a combination of in-house (face to face) and online self study learning.

This course normally runs one day per week, for 34 weeks, starting in September. Additional time is required for online self study.
- You will be expected to have successfully completed the previous level in this subject area or similar
- Life skills, experience and maturity are important
- Each application is considered on individual merit
Units to be studied will include:
- Preparing final accounts for partnerships and sole traders
- Providing cost and revenue information
- Preparing and completing VAT returns
- Business awareness
- Professional ethics in accounting & finance

Successfully completing the AAT examinations not only results in a highly sought after qualification but also serves as a pathway to additional professional certifications. The next step is the AAT Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting.
- Stationery - you will be told about any specific items before you start the course
- Textbooks - you will be told about any specific items before you start the course, most textbooks are available to loan from the college library or online libraries
