Animal Care learners have been working in collaboration with Folly Farm and the Woodland Trust creating tree-rich habitats for the benefit of conservation and the environment.

At the Senedd this week, five FE colleges and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David have launched a new network of Higher Technical Institutes to tackle under performance in Wales’ labour market.

David Jones, Learner Transition Co-ordinator from Pembrokeshire College has been selected from thousands of nominations to win a Pearson National Teaching Silver Award. David was honoured with a Silver Award for Excellence in Special Needs Education for his outstanding commitment to changing the lives of the learners that he works
