The College’s Employment Bureau hosted their sixth Employer Lunch Event on Wednesday 4 May 2022. The event, sponsored by Dragon LNG, gave 21 learners from a range of engineering courses the chance to meet with employers over a lunch within the College’s student-run ‘SEED Restaurant’. A big thank you to all who participated.
Company representatives from Le Breton Engineering Limited, BTG Speciality Pharmaceuticals, Ledwood Mechanical Engineering Limited and Mainstay Marine Solutions attended. Each had the opportunity to talk about what it’s like to work in their industry and to discuss the engineering related career options/job vacancies for learners to consider following the completion of their course.

The College’s Employment Bureau, who organised the event, are a learner recruitment service which is part funded by Welsh Government. The Employment Bureau team help College learners with CV writing, interview skills, work experience placements and also offer a free recruitment service for employers who are looking to promote their vacancies to learners.
