Pembrokeshire College is proud to announce the success of its innovative Destination Design Thinking Programme, launched as a pilot last September. This ground-breaking initiative targets Level 3 Creative Media learners, offering them a unique opportunity to engage in design thinking while developing critical employability skills.
Pembrokeshire College Employability Co-ordinator for the Life Skills Academy, David Jones, has won the Skills Competition Diversity Champion Award at the 2024 WorldSkills UK Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Heroes Awards. The winners were announced at a prestigious ceremony held at the Houses of Parliament, London on 7 March.
Over 280 talented young people from across Wales have been recognised for their outstanding vocational skills at this year’s Skills Competition Wales awards, securing 96 gold, 92 silver and 97 bronze medals.
The work-based learning team at Pembrokeshire College have been shortlisted in the West Wales Regional Partnership Board (WWRPB) Health and Social Care Awards.
